Island Vir
Vir is connected to the mainland via a bridge Privlački. Vir is one of the many islands of the archipelago, situated in the northwestern part of Dalmatia. Its size is 20 Croatian island. Vir continues to Privlački peninsula from which it is separated by 3m deep and 300m wide Privlački Draft. The island has an area of \u200b\u200b23 km2. Number of sunny hours per year is 2450, almost 300 days of sunshine, making it a pleasant destination and out of season. Vir is not a place of big hotels.On the island you can find restaurants and bars with shady terraces, restaurants, disco clubs, local folklore and various shops, a pharmacy, post office, travel agency, money exchange, rent a boat, a rich green and fish markets. Those who know the mountain-biking warmly recommend this area for this sport.
